Roasted is another welcome addition to Strathaven's burgeoning little artisan food and drink scene. The industrial wooden and metal furniture evokes the coffee houses found in the trendier areas of big cities, and sure enough, this place has the credentials to match the decor: their beans are from Home Ground Coffee in Cardross, with cold brew and V60 coffee options for the seriously hardcore. All the bread and cakes are baked by owner Theologos Giameos, and food is delightfully put together – the menu changes daily, but think Parma ham and provolone cheese sandwiches, or a salad of pearl barley, cucumber and feta with lemon oregano.
