This ‘kitchen’ (formerly Borland’s Deli) serves takeaway deli food and deli-style specialist food products, focussing on organic, Scottish and local produce where possible. They are hoping to launch their own Gin and Tweed tea made by Fancy a Brew and they also stock Galloway Lodge chutneys, Isle of Arran cheeses, and have plans to stock edibles and pale ale from Ayrshire. The ‘tweed’ part of the name refers to the tweed wedding stationery and wedding favours that make up part of their gift range; the company also provides specially tailored catering packages, ranging from afternoon tea to canapés. Last but not least, ‘Gin’ represents the hampers which are available throughout the year, and will include food, gifts and of course the selection of Scottish craft gins they stock, from Edinburgh Gin and Eden Mill to Boë Peach Hibiscus Gin Liqueur.
