Buzzing with life, this flashy bistro and bar should be on every cocktail lover’s radar.
Tigerlily’s look is an eye-poppingly vivid combination of intense colours and styles where the design element is turned up to 11. The multiple dining areas around the main bar offer a plethora of seating options, with the large curved sofas particularly suited for chatty group get-togethers. Asian flavours crop up across the menu; chicken bang bang salad with peanut and sesame dressing is an ample portion that leaves taste buds singing and the mouth tingling. With the main of pan-fried seabass with baby potatoes and pak-choi, you may want the coconut leaf sauce on the side to avoid the fish being over-powered. Brioche and butter pudding with orange and apricot accompanied by Arran Dairies vanilla ice-cream is beautifully presented and a perfect close to the meal. Like the décor, the drinks selection has to be seen to be believed. The cocktail list stretches into the distance and that’s before the substantial whisky list gets a look-in. There are set meal bargains to be had at lunch and dinner and drink discounts from Tuesday to Friday.
