Shortlist revealed for The List Reader Award in Association with Birra Moretti

Choose the winner from the top five restaurants in Edinburgh and Glasgow

For the past 25 years The List's Eating & Drinking Guide has provided a comprehensive, well-informed and up-to-date guide to the dining scene across Edinburgh and Glasgow.

The guide covers over 150 new openings from the past year, as well as Hitlists which highlight the best places in each section; and Tiplists which show the best places for brunch, coffee, beer, bargain lunches, afternoon tea and more. Still, we like to know the thoughts of our readers, which is what our List Reader Award in Association with Birra Moretti is all about.

Birra Moretti have partnered with The List to support food and drink in Scotland, helping to promote the businesses and products making a difference to Scotland's rich gastronomic culture since 2009.

Following the longlist announcement, we've whittled the votes down to the top five restaurants in both cities, leaving it up to you to choose which restaurants will be crowned winners. The venues which receive the most online votes will receive The List Reader Award at our Eating & Drinking Guide parties in April. Vote for your favourite restaurant by 1 Apr 2018 and you could be heading to the Big Feastival in the Cotswolds this August.

We're delighted to reveal the shortlist (in no particular order) for The List Reader Award in Association with Birra Moretti:

Glasgow

Cafe Strange Brew
Julie's Kopitiam
