Admit it – you've always fancied yourself a whisky connoisseur. Now, at Chivas Regal's pop-up on Bethnal Green Road, you can have a go at creating your own
Fancy trying something different this month? Head to Chivas Regal's Bethnal Green pop-up bar The Blend for one of their Art of Blending sessions. They're a fun, interactive way to explore the wonderful world of whisky – and there are plenty of samples too.
You'll start the 45-minute session by sampling a range of different malts, getting to know the grain which is at the heart of every Scottish whisky. Then, experiment with creamy, smoky, citrus, floral and fruity notes, and learn the secrets of the Chivas Regal house blend.
Finally, have a go at creating your own bespoke blend and take your very own bottle home with you – or, if you can bear to part with it, save it for a Christmas gift. Whether you're an expert or a complete novice, it's a great way to spend an evening in a relaxed, laid-back atmosphere and learn more about the water of life.
After your session, kick back and enjoy The Blend's bar, this vibrant space is reminiscent of classic bars and offers a range of exclusive cocktails.
Visitors to The Blend can also expect a vibrant DJ programme and some exciting food partnerships. Don't hang about though – it's only open until Sunday 3 December.
