Foodies Festival is back to deck the halls of The EICC on 25, 26 and 27 Nov 2016. Kick off your festive season in style with what is guaranteed to be the most delicious Christmas feast around. Watch MasterChef winner Jane Devonshire whip up Christmas recipes in the Chef's Theatre, take part in a festive masterclasses, or listen to amazing live music while sipping on mulled wine after finding the perfect gifts for Christmas from over 200 stalls.
Top chefs will be keeping culinary enthusiasts inspired in our Chef's Theatre, including Great British Menu winner Michael Bremner, Michelin Starred chefs Brian Grigor (The Balmoral) and Marcello Tully (Kinloch Lodge, Skye) and MasterChef winners Jane Devonshire and Jamie Scott, all of whom will be cooking up a whole host of seasonal treats and tips.
Equip yourself with all the skills to become the festive 'Hostess with the Mostest' at our '12 Masterclasses of Christmas', from making Christmas wreaths, tasty canapés and curing salmon to seasonal cocktails for your guests. There will be a wide range of masterclasses in the Drinks Theatre, with craft beer, champagne and wine tasting masterclasses ensuring everyone stays merry.
For those with a sweet tooth, our Cake and Bake Theatre is not to be missed, with Burlesque Baker Charlotte White creating a showstopping new spin on the traditional Christmas Cake. Delicious Chocolate and Churros masterclasses will go down a treat with your post-Turkey coffees too.
A great day out for the whole family, there is plenty to keep the little ones entertained and extra helpful in the kitchen this Christmas time, with classes on making gingerbread men and chocolate snowballs at the Elf's Cookery Theatre.
Get your Christmas shopping started early with the perfect foodie gifts at the Artisan Christmas Market, with award-winning cheeses, chutneys, hampers and much more. Walking past all these mouth watering stalls is bound to work up an appetite, and the Street Food Avenue will be bound to satisfy with everything from steamed pork buns to macaroni cheese.
For those up for a challenge, don't miss the daily Christmas Chilli eating competition and the Mince Pie Eating Challenge. There are plenty of festive games on the menu, with a Christmas Quiz and a chance to practice your charades at the Vintage cider and beer bar. The three-day celebration also has a stellar line-up of live music and a luxury VIP area and Vintage Tea Room, which will definitely get you, and your belly, into the Christmas spirit!
