Aiming to use as much Orkney produce as possible, the café menu does this impressively successfully with bere (a local grain) bannocks, Orkney cheese, salmon and meat, Westray crab and local whisky and beer. Opened in 2011 alongside the established gift and food shop, there are outdoor tables, weather permitting, and a wine list devised by Duncan McLean from the local Wool & Wine Shop.
