With beautiful décor and situated just outside Brechin, the House of Farnell is a Danish-style treasure trove of wonderous gifts. The Christmas Fayre, in particular, is immensely popular with an emporium of Christmas decorations for sale. The café is small but well laid out. If it is full you can place your name on a waiting list and wonder around the shop until there is a table free. Alternatively you can have your food as a takeaway. The coffee is excellent, as are the pastries.
