Alloro, Italian for 'bay leaf', was opened to great critical acclaim in June 2000. Since then, this buzzy Dover Street restaurant has become popular with both fashionable local residents and the Mayfair business trade.
Keeping to a simple formula of serving Italian favourites, all pastas and breads are made on the premises and the seasonal menu always pleases. Alloro also boasts Il Baretto, an authentic and typical Italian bar where one can unwind Italian style with an aperitivo before your meal. During the busy lunch period and throughout the day, this bar is also a slightly less formal area to enjoy a quick light lunch or snack and serves as an excellent meeting point for tired shoppers!
