Now a well-established good food stop in central Ayr, Chisholms has always set out its store by the quality of produce available on its doorstep. Thus a broad range of cheese is headed up by examples from Dunlop and Arran, smoked fish comes from Fencebay at Fairlie, pies from down the road at Dalduff and bacon and puddings from Ramsays over in Carluke.
