Opened in 1982, D&A Kennedy have established themselves as one of Scotland's leading butchers. Alan Kennedy visits Forfar market every Wednesday to purchase livestock from tried and trusted local farms and suppliers, keen to assure traceability from farm to plate, and beef is then hung for at least three weeks to ensure tenderness and flavour. The Kennedys have been based at their Blairgowrie premises for the past ten years, and offer a nationwide mail order service.
