Run by Leo Godini and his family for 29 years, Poldino's is Aberdonian for Italian. Eschewing modern trends and twists, Poldino's prefers traditional Italian food. Alongside familiar pizza and pasta, Leo prides himself on high quality steak dishes using locally sourced beef. The terracotta walls and atrium lend a Roman villa atmosphere and Poldino's 23 tables are often packed with hungry centurions and legionnaries so book in advance. The pre-theatre/early evening menu not only offers a good chance of a table but also particularly good value.
