Social is two venues rolled into one - a cool, pre-club pub and a great retro chic restaurant. The décor is chunky funky retro, with creams and purples everywhere. Paninis and club sandwiches are served all day, alongside a more substantial lunch menu, the highlight of which is a number of good-value platters intended for sharing (social by name, sociable by nature). Haggis fritters or Thai-style mussels are amongst the cheap but filling starters and a range of good quality salads are also on offer, alongside mains such as pork chop teriyaki with Asian greens or Moroccan spiced chicken kebab.
