Winner of the 2005 Scottish Licensed Trade Award for best whisky bar, the Lismore Lounge existed long before the resurgence of Partick Cross' bar culture, and will doubtless continue to do so long after it declines. Although it still attracts a strong core of locals, the new legislation ensures it's no longer the smoky pub of old, which can only benefit its specially commissioned stained glass. In addition to over 125 whiskies, the Lismore also stocks a fine range of draughts beers and impromptu folk music sessions are not unheard of.

I remember the lismore as being a great pub,a great choice of beers and a friendly atmosphere. Even the urinals in the toilet were a laugh ..... you could pay tribute in them to various englishmen and scottish traitors lol ...... i miss that pub !
