Falafel Petra

I popped in here for a lamb schwarama sandwich to take away. Glad to say it turned out to be the best one I've had in Glasgow. It wasn't completely smothered in illuminous sauce and the lamb (not donner meat) was of a good quality - it actually tasted like ones I ate in the middle east a few summers ago. Will definitely be back.

As I haven't sat down and had a meal there I can't rate the whole experience, but staff were v. friendly. Only thing was that it felt a little awkward taking away as it's definitely more of a restaurant, so wouldn't recommend stumbling in there really drunk.

Fantastic food!. My wife and I popped in and had the mixed lebanese starter for two, and a chicken shawarma main served at the same time, mezze style.

So many different flavours, an assault on the senses! I'll be back very soon, and a coffee afterwards in Artisan roast next door. Good times.

We had a lovely relaxing meal here on a Friday night. The food was tasty and the service was friendly and attentive. The menu was very varied – we chose a couple of familiar dishes and a couple we didn’t know about — but everything was flavoursome and fresh, and presented in an appealing way.
The music was unobtrusive and the portions were just right. We were pleasantly full by the end of the meal, which turned out to be a very reasonable price. Not sure what else I would ask of a meal out - a bit more company would have been nice, though!
