me and my friend went for dinner on saturday and we had a great night! The food was great, staff were very welcoming and couldn't do enough to make you happy. It cost 20 pounds each we shared a bottle of wine and had 3 courses great value for money. At the end of the night the host had us all up to learn some greek dancing! it was hilarious! most fun i've had in ages!

Last Sunday I went out with a few people from work to this restaurant. What a gem!!! The food was fantastic. I tried a dish called 'pastitsio', what a treat!!! The service was great, the atmosphere was great and the prices where great!!! The greek owner even started dancing and encouraged everyone to join in!! If you are looking for a great night out and don't want to spend a lot of money, look no further.

Zorbas is my favourite place to eat in the whole city. Delicious food, big portions and friendly staff. I can't recommend it enough!

After reading reviews not only from The List but several other sites I decided to try Zorba's restaurant as most reviews were positive. However my experience was one of utter disappointment. Stodgy salty food and a pathetic excuse for a salad all added up to a dismal night out at Zorba's. If you like Greek food which is not saturated in salt but has been seasoned correctly using fresh ingredients and prepared with skill and an understanding and love for food I would recommend Konaki's or The Golden Kebab restaurants, both of which provide a much higher standard of fare.

Re -your telephone call, by your own admission you were not in attendance at this event- therefore the story you have published is your interpretation of here say.
Perhaps you would be good enough to direct your girlfriend (who was the customer) to converse with the Party Leader who booked the event 2 weeks prior and chose the £10 menu from the array of menus on offer.
After your phone call I contacted the Party Leader, she was unaware that there had been any problem and assured me that everyone in the party had enjoyed the lunch, the dancing and the party atmosphere, so much so that another event is planned soon. Perhaps you should come along too Joe and see for yourself.

If a customer encounters a problem while dining at our restaurant it is normal procedure to inform the management in the first instance, giving them the chance to resolve the issue to the customers satisfaction.

Had my hen night here a couple of weeks ago and it was a brilliant night. The food was excellent, service good and the Greek dancing was a lot of fun! Demetrios and his staff all do their best to please their customers and there was a real party atmosphere. I was there with a large party of around 35 and think everyone had a good night. Would definitely go back there and highly recommend it for a hen night or special occasion.

Never been disappointed here. Usually eat early pre-theatre and the food is always good.

Dimitri is chatty(very!) and he remembers the type of wine you like.

Sometimes you feel as if he is rushing you to the next course but not in an unpleasant way!!

Love the place.

I've eaten at Zorba's quite a few times now and have to say that next to Minoli's restaurant in Monolythos, Rhodes that the food here is very authentic and delicious. The Mezedes is always excellent with Dimitri and his daughter making you feel very welcome. I've never been told that it's closing time at Zorbas and you can feel comfortable to take your time, relax and enjoy your food and the excellent atmosphere that the staff create for you. When you take a table in a restaurant in Greece it's yours for the night and it's just the same in Zorbas. My family and I have been to all the Greek restaurants in Glasgow and we highly recommend Zorbas. Dimitri is a big football fan though so don't get dragged into a conversation or you'll be talking into the wee hours.
