My partner and I have only been there once so I can't really comment on the consistency of the food quality or service, but the one and only time we went, we were very impressed!
Since moving to Edinburgh just over a year ago we couldn't seem to find an Indian restaurant we both liked. However, this changed when we came here. The interior is nice and modern and the staff seemed friendly enough.
We order vegetable pakora to share, which were okay but I have had better. As for the main, this made up for everything. My partner had a madras which was lovely, the best he's ever tasted (and that's a lot) and I had a Korma - wimp's curry I know but I think it's a really easy dish to get wrong as many restaurants make it too creamy or sickening. This korma was perfect, the best I've ever had. The garlic naan was very garlicky, just as I like and that too was perfect. Prices of food were reasonable although the naan was expensive for the size (about the size of a side plate) but it was amazing!
What we couldn't finish, we asked to take home, which wasn't a problem.
I would say the only other downfall was that we felt we were watched all the time by the waiter but this was probably because it was so quiet (Sunday night).
We'll definitely be going back and we really hope it's as good as last time.

The quality of the food here is very variable - the first few times we ate here, we liked it, but more recently, we have been unimpressed. However, what never changes is the rude, inattentive, obsequious staff, who have served us the wrong dishes multiple times, and refused to apologise.
